Mike, Mason, and I stopped in Columbus on our way back home to introduce Mason to my Uncle Kinsey, Aunt Anita and their family.  Uncle Kinsey Cheshire is my mom’s only brother.  Both he and my aunt have been sick this year and have not been able to make it to Florida.  We were glad to [...]

This summer, we took a quick road trip up to Plaines, Georgia, with Mason.  So, it was only fitting that on our way up to Callaway Gardens we spend some time at Franklin D. Roosevelt’s Little White House in Warm Springs.
We arrived on Friday afternoon just as two bus loads of tourists pulled into the [...]

A Visit From Nana and Papa

Mike’s grandparents, Nana and Papa Snowdon, came for a visit on Friday, Mike’s birthday.  They stayed the weekend and enjoyed time with their great-grandson, Mason, as well as the rest of my family. Family Visits

We had a wonderful & relaxing weekend with Mason’s great-grandparents, Big Nana & Big Papa.  We just hung around the house, visited & ate.  On Sunday, Mike made a perfect pot of homemade meatballs & sauce, so my parents & brother, Mitch, joined us for dinner after church.  Now, we are in tight, hoping that [...]
