Miss Julia started preschool with Mason on Monday. We are very excited that they will be going to the same place now, and I think the structure will be very good for her.
She is talking but not as quickly or clearly as Mason did (not trying to compare them); I think reading and having a regular curriculum will help with that, too. In fact, it already has. Her afternoon teacher told me that Miss Julia is the talker of the class!
The highlight of my week was getting her out of bed one morning and having her hug me and tell me, “I’m happy mommy.”
Mason is not so sure about Miss Julia going to his “big boy school,” however. He was really excited the first day. After that, not so much. He does not like change in his routine, so it has been hard, too, because he is now in a new class.

Of course, I am home this summer, so they will both me mostly with me. Miss Julia will go more regularly to get used to school. But I am excited about having them all to myself.
Here is Miss Julia with her teacher, Miss Angie, who we all adore.
